Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust (MWL)

This report was submitted to Knowsley ICB who, on receiving the report, felt it required a regional response and therefore forwarded the report to the Chief Executive of Cheshire & Merseyside ICB.

The latest update we have received is that the report had been sent to the regional heads of each service – hospitals, GP’s, dental, community, quality, for a response, though no response or contact has been received by us to date.

We have recently spoken with the Chief Executives Business Manager and are now waiting for a person to be named as the lead on this to work with the Deaf community in a plan of improvements.
